Basic Structure and Working Principle
The Explosion-Proof Electric Water Pressure Pump for Vulcanizers is a duplex plunger pump. The motor drives the plunger, which in turn drives the slider to move, thereby injecting water into the object under pressure test and gradually increasing the pressure. This pump is composed of a pump body, a switch, a pressure gauge, a water tank, a motor, and other components.
Working Principle of the Explosion-Proof Electric Water Pressure Pump for Vulcanizers
Check the water level in the water tank and connect the power cord.
Tighten the handwheel switch clockwise.
Press the start button to operate the motor. When the pressure gauge pointer reaches the set rated pressure, the pressure will stop rising.

After the pressure test is completed, loosen the switch counterclockwise.
Medium Return to Water Tank & Troubleshooting
Pressure cannot be built up
Check if there is debris on the filter screen and clean it if necessary.
Ensure the water suction port in the water tank is submerged; add water appropriately if not.
Verify if the switch is tightened and if the connecting pipe is sealed.
If the check valve port is not sealed, disassemble the check valve for cleaning.
Excessive noise
Proper maintenance and upkeep during daily use are essential to extend the pump's service life.
Replace the lubricating oil of the new pump after 40 hours of operation, replace it again after 80 hours, and then replace it every 200 hours or so. Clean the oil sump during each replacement.
Routine inspection items during use
Regularly check if the fasteners at all connections are loose and tighten them immediately if any looseness is found.
Keep the crankshaft lubricating oil and pressure test medium clean to prevent contamination by impurities.
Replace the bearing if it is damaged.
Loosen the connecting body bushing if the plunger is stuck.
Unstable pressure / Water cannot be sucked in
For unstable pressure: Check if the switch is fully closed and if the connecting pipe is sealed. Repair or replace the pressure gauge if it is damaged.
For failure to suck water: Vertically invert the motor, loosen the three hex socket screws on part 46, and gently insert an iron wire or nail into the small hole of part 49 to prevent the steel ball from adhering to part 49.
