Storage and Maintenance of Tape Vulcanizing Machines
The storage environment for tape vulcanizing machines should be kept dry and well-ventilated to prevent rusting. If the working environment is humid or water-prone, during disassembly and transportation, the machine should be placed on padded surfaces to avoid direct contact with water. If heating plates are improperly operated during use, maintenance should first be performed by the manufacturer. The tape vulcanizing machine is manufactured from lightweight aluminum alloy, making it compact and portable. It is equipped with an intelligent automatic LCD temperature control box. The control box is connected to the main unit via integrated plugs and multi-core cables, ensuring reliable operation. It also features rapid heating, uniform temperature distribution, and high thermal efficiency, making it an ideal bonding device for conveyor belt joints. The quality of the belt joint directly affects the operational efficiency and service life of the belt, particularly for long-distance, high-strength conveyor belts, where it is especially critical. The tape vulcanizing machine is an advanced auxiliary device for conveyor belt systems.
If emergency repairs are needed, open the heating plate cover, sprinkle water appropriately, set the electrical control box to manual mode, heat to 100°C, maintain a constant temperature for half an hour to dry the circuits, and then proceed with bonding the belt in manual mode. Simultaneously, contact the manufacturer promptly to arrange for replacement of the entire production line if necessary. After each use, the water inside the hydraulic plates must be thoroughly drained, especially in winter. If water is not completely removed, it can lead to premature aging of the rubber in the hydraulic plates and reduce their service life. The correct drainage method is to perform the draining after vulcanization and heat preservation, while the machine is still assembled. If the machine is disassembled before drainage, water may not be fully discharged from the hydraulic plates.

During the injection molding process of the tape vulcanizing machine, the temperatures that need to be controlled include the barrel temperature, nozzle temperature, and mold temperature. The first two primarily affect the plasticization and flow of the plastic, while the latter mainly influences the flow and cooling of the plastic. Each type of plastic has a different flow temperature. Even for the same plastic, the flow temperature and decomposition temperature may vary depending on the manufacturer or grade, due to differences in average molecular weight and molecular weight distribution. The plasticization process also differs across types of injection molding machines, so the selection of barrel temperature must be adjusted accordingly.
Excessively high temperatures in the tape vulcanizing machine can adversely affect both the machine itself and the materials being vulcanized. Due to the significant impact of high temperatures on various aspects of the vulcanizing machine, numerous tests are conducted during its production process. One such test is the contact temperature measurement test, which is used to evaluate the effects of high temperatures on the working components of the vulcanizing machine.
